Creating his first Caricature at age 6 his career path was easily foreseen. Trading portraits for lunch money, it would be not long before Sweet 16 parties and Bar Mitzvahs soon commanded his artistic presence.
He was discovered by Larry Cresci (Formally of The Palm Group) at the age of 17 and honored with the invitation to display his skills on the walls of The Palm Too restaurant in 1973.
His natural talent would later lead to future stints creating scoreboard animations at Madison Square Garden, illustrating Big Winners at The Trump Plaza Casino in Atlantic City and Art Director at DDB NY. All the while cramming the walls with thousands of faces of Celebrities and locals who would pass through the famous Manhattan Steakhouse.
Becoming a local celebrity in his own right, Al is currently adorning all of the rapidly growing Palm franchises in the city. The Palm, The Palm Too, West Side Palm and The Brand New Tribeca Palm! Al can be found today still plying his trade in Advertising Art at The Napoleon Group .
